Prepping is an essential part of painting to ensure long lasting finishes. We include prep work in every estimate because it is a part of every job. Prepping consists of cleaning to remove dust and dirt, filling cracks, holes, and nicks to smooth out surfaces and imperfections, sanding to scuff up previous paint so new paint will adhere and caulking to create clean lines around the trim.

We understand the complications of having a construction site within your home. In order to protect every inch, we follow standards and use top of the line equipment for each project. We lay down drop cloths to cover flooring, cover furniture and artwork with plastic and clean up thoroughly at the end of each day. To mitigate dust, we use HEPA rated dustless sanding and vacuum systems.

Wescott Painting uses top of the line products from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams. At the time of the estimate, we will talk you through products and finishes to help choose the best product for your custom painting project.
